THE POWER OF SUGGESTION
So you’ve learned the ins-and-outs of storytelling through screenwriting. Now it’s time to get to work and get constructive input from your peers with this ongoing group. Read-and-critique is a valuable way to find out what is and isn’t working in your screenplay. We meet every week to critique a few pages of a screenwriters’ scripts, offer feedback, provide encouragement, and get that screenplay from concept to completion!
You will gain:
- Valuable feedback from your peers on how to make your screenplay stronger
- Further insight into the screenwriting process by reading the work of other screenwriters
- Accountability to keep you working towards your goal of finishing your first (or second or third… ) screenplay
Please note that this is not a screenwriting class. It is assumed that you know how to write a screenplay, including structure and formatting, and this workshop is designed to help you put that knowledge into practice.
